COVID-19 Procedures
The University of Mississippi Career Center is committed to serving our campus community and employer partners and offering support and resources during this unprecedented time. In keeping with federal, state, local, and university guidelines, the Career Center will follow all parameters and protocol to maintain the health and safety of our students, faculty, staff, employer partners, and other guests who visit the Career Center. We will offer services and programs according to social distancing guidelines through virtual platforms and, when possible, in-person. These guidelines work to explain the COVID-19 Procedures for our Employers.
NOTE: These guidelines are subject to change as new information becomes available from government, state, and university officials. We will update these guidelines as quickly as possible when changes are made.

Registering for a Career Fair
Employers Registering for a Career Fair:
- Log in to Handshake at https://www.joinhandshake.com/
- Click Fairs on the left side of the page or choose the option on your dashboard
- Choose “Yes” to Show Your Schools Only?
- Click on the fair you wish to register for
- Click on the “+Register” link at the top right of the page
- Scroll through prompts and choose the most appropriate selections that match your recruiting criteria for this career fair
- Choose “Create Registration” at bottom right
- We will receive your registration request and approve it within 24-48 hours
Scheduling an Event
Employers Registering for an Event:
- Log in to Handshake at https://www.joinhandshake.com/
- Choose Events on left or choose the option on your dashboard
- Choose the Request Event option on the top right of the page
- Scroll through the prompts and choose the most appropriate selections for this event
- Choose Save option at bottom right
- We will receive your registration request and approve it within 24-48 hours
